BOHEMIA & MORAVIA - A COLLECTOR'S NOTEBOOK (B.63)
Handbook (1st edition) covering a selection of aspects of the postal history of Bohemia & Moravia in WWII under German occupation. The chapters on "Postal Rates" and on "Post Office listing" spring to mind as being alone worth the cost of the book. This 1st edition contains marginally less detail in the camp and KLV section, and a few snippets in other sections, but is only 2 pages shorter than the 2nd edition and is half the price! Just one copy left, to clear.

Detailed handbook covering postal rates for all the German States, Germany (including a special section for the 1923 inflation), Colonies, Plebiscites, WWII Occupations, Zones, West Germany, DDR.

History of the WWII concentration camp at Theresienstadt (Terezin), in theory the showcase transit camp where Red Cross officials were allowed to see part (but not all) of life for Czech Jews under the III Reich. The book includes postal history and arrangements for mail, official mail cards, official notices, and set of three "stamps", and the souvenir sheet produced for officials.

BAVARIA HARMERS 1980 AUCTION (B.329)
Harmers San Francisco/London auction of the Sandra Ilene West collection, strength in the early rectangular classics, including 1kr grey-black block of four (one of three known) and vertical strip of six on cover (largest strip known on cover), also 18kr gutter block of ten. 314 lots, 60 pages, most ilustrated in b/w plus two colour plates. Important collection for reference.

POSTGEBUHREN (POSTAL RATES) (B.330)
Michel catalogue, first edition of 2001, comprehensive listing of postal rates in easy-to-follow tables, from German States through to 1993 West Germany and DDR. There exist a couple of more recent editions with minor corrections and additions, but all the essentials are in this first edition, much cheaper than buying new. Very useful for checking if a cover has the correct franking (slight under- or over- franking are not well regarded in exhibits) and for the fascinating 1923 Infla period with its rapidly escalating rates. 285 pages.
