Revenue Stamps Information

We publish a series of standard one-country revenue catalogues, for many countries of the world, and these Barefoot catalogues have become recognised as the standard guides and numbering system for revenue stamps.

Most are available to buy on this website - click "Literature" on the Menu, or type "revenue" in the search box.

REVENUE CATALOGUES

We publish a series of standard one-country revenue catalogues, for many countries of the world, and these Barefoot catalogues have become recognised as the standard guides and numbering system for revenue stamps.
Most are available to buy on this website - see individually under "Literature", or type "revenue" in the search box.
Our aim is to continue this series so that a consistent series of catalogues is available for most countries of the world.
Work in progress - for some countries or smaller areas, we offer "work in progress" listings and extracts from our catalogues (see the country titles as subgroups in this section). They are free to download and print for personal study use only. If collectors can offer better scans or more information, please get in touch with us.
Many collectors have helped us with information and listings. We would like to thank everyone who has helped make information on revenues more easily available.

REVENUE SOCIETY

The Revenue Society is a collectors' organisation whose aim is to encourage the collection and study of revenue stamps. The Society publishes a quarterly Journal, has auctions for members only, meetings, and a library. I've personally been a member for many years and indeed am a life member. I highly recommend the Society for any collector wanting to become more involved in revenue stamps. For more information contact the Secretary, Andrew McClellan, his email address is secretary@revenuesociety.org.uk

WORK IN PROGRESS

The menu below offers a number of listings of smaller countries, or "work in progress" offerings where research is being done. These are not yet published works; they are simply a resource for interested collectors and a request for information from collectors; in essence, a revenue stamp forum. Be aware that catalogue numbers are not final; they may change as new items are found and listings are expanded. Any black/white illustrations shown are review images simply for the purpose of identification, and constitute requests for a colour scan, as these need replacing for the final planned work.
